DOUG CLARKE
Doug has background in carpentry going back to his schooling days! He has since progressed over the past 16 years to being a Builder, running his own company with his wife Kila.
He prides himself on completing his work to a high standard every time.
Doug and Kila Clarke are proud to work together as a creative husband and wife team - a qualified and licensed builder and interior designer.
Their own story began with a laugh and a chat at the YaYa Bar in Samford. After a series of adventures up and down Australia's East Coast, they got married and settled down in Scarborough with their gorgeous border collie, Gypsie. They continue to add new chapters to their life and love sharing their joy of adding value to the quality of living for others.
Together, Doug and Kila founded mystoryco. after years of experience running their own Build and Design companies separately.
Partnering with clients to create their next story is a job they take very seriously and their goal is to improve your every day living through clever design and building finished to a high standard of quality.
They achieve this through custom design, innovation, building excellence and a unique sense of style.

KILA CLARKE
Kila began in graphic design and later trained in Interior Design. Her design experience goes back 18 years. She loves to bring some quirkiness and a unique perspective to her designs that create both function and beauty.

Interior Design, Colour consulation and working drawings.
